Watch the Big Friendly Bike Ride

The first Bricycles ride of 2023 went like a dream. The Big Friendly Bike Ride attracted dozens of cyclists of all ages, from all over the city (and even from Lewes), on all kinds of bikes including cargo-bikes, e-bikes and tag-alongs.

The weather was perfect – sunny, very little wind and not so hot. Ideal for the 4 mile flat and easy route from the Peace Statue on the seafront and looping through Hove to return to the start.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made the big ride a big success. We’re already planning more because our fully marshalled easy rides give everyone a chance to grow in confidence on their bikes.

The more the merrier.
