Crash on the Lewes Road

Bill McQueen, a 73 year old lecturer was cycling to work as usual to the University of Brighton when something happened to cause him to be found unconscious on the A270 northbound carriageway of the Lewes Road on Friday 29 Nov at about 10.00 am. Lewes Road launch

The £4 Million upgrade for public transport, cycling and walking infrastructure was given a great launch with a Bike Train ride on Saturday 5th October. Cyclists met at the Level and elsewhere to ride the new cycle lanes and meet at Wild Park for speeches, music and celebration.
