We need to invest in active transport

Worryingly, regional transport body Transport for the South East (TfSE) is planning for a 7% drop in walking and cycling. It intends to plan strategic transport across the South East and you can respond to its consultation until 10 January 2020.

TfSE draws together Councils, Local Enterprise Partnerships, businesses, transport providers and stakeholder groups.

Join others in a half-day workshop organised by the Transport Action Network, a new organisation assisting people and groups calling for sustainable transport in their local area, and respond to the consultation to say we need proper investment in walking and cycling.
