Logo of Better Bike Social in blue on pink backgroundA pop-up festival of the bike; a gathering of multiple voices across a range of events, exhibitions, activities, seminars, group rides, and workshops.

This is an all-ability social ride from Hove to Shoreham along the coast and back, with a coffee stop with Jon Frost.

Chat, meet new cyclists and stop for coffee and cake before returning along the coast to The Peace Statue.

Approx distance 12 miles, your bike will need to be in working order.

Jon has been cycling since childhood. Passionate about cycling as a sport, advocating it as the most efficient form of transport and as a great stress reliever. From racing to cruising the country lanes, commuting to work to spinning around velodromes, Jon has many years of experience and would be happy to support any cyclist whether be new or a long time fan.

PLEASE NOTE: This is an adult only ride and you ride at your own risk.

Book your FREE tickets here.

The festival is a not-for-profit programme of inter-linked flash events and venues, with a single purpose to celebrate the many ways in which β€˜BIKES MAKE LIFE BETTER’; an opportunity to bring a broad community of people together to exchange passions, interests, knowledge and experience across a spectrum of bicycle related themes.
This is a self-initiated, grass roots, not-for-profit cultural programme.
It is fully supported by Bricycles, providing speakers from the team and funding to help defray expenses. The BETTER BIKE SOCIAL will explore how pedestrian and bicycle prioritised city planning is better at creating more inclusive and accessible neighbourhoods.
