Preston Park u3a welcomes people who are no longer in full time employment, want to stay physically active, to be busy and challenged and to meet similarly minded people.
The cycling group meets each Wednesday at 10am for a gentle ride, usually 12-15 miles, around Brighton and the surrounding countryside. They take it gently, incorporating a coffee stop, several members use electric bikes. Sometimes they start at Knoyle Hall in Knoyle Road but, for variety, often travel by car to the start point, using shared bike transport if possible. They endeavour to carry on through the winter, weather permitting.
