🚲👩‍👧‍👦Kidical Mass – Seafront Meet

23 September 23 @ 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm

A Kidical Mass Ride is a fun, safe environment for families and friends to cycle together and is inclusive for all ages and abilities, for disabled and able-bodied alike.

It is free, fully marshalled and led. Children and young people are particularly welcome and must be accompanied by an adult. We’ll ride at the pace of the slowest so nobody gets left behind.

There are three places you, your families and friends can join Kidical Mass before everybody comes together for the final leg of the mass ride. One is in Brighton, one is in Hove and the other is on centre of the seafront.

This listing is for everybody who wants to join the ride on the seafront where everybody who started in Brighton or Hove will meet for the final leg, all together. If you want information about where to join the ride in Brighton or Hove, go here.

Kidical Mass rides highlight the need for safe, segregated routes that enable children to walk, scoot, wheel and cycle in their neighbourhoods.

Last year, 40,000 children and their families demonstrated their idea of mobility at the Kidical Mass in more than 200 cities in 15 countries, including the UK.

Kidical Mass is more than just a protest, it gives children a voice, creating a positive vision for the future, connecting the young and old across the cycling community.

Kidical Mass Brighton & Hove is organised by Bricycles and Brighton Bike Hub, supported by Old Shoreham Road (OSR) Bike Train, with funding from The Big Bike Revival.
