A week long festival to celebrate the bicycle as the ideal form of urban transport, featuring workshops, talks, movie screenings, tournaments and more is being organised for April 2012.
A set of principles have been compiled by local cycling groups and in consultation with their members. They are intended to give basic guidance for planning departments to follow when planning or changing existing infrastructure. The objective is that there can then be a more sustainable approach to planning projects, and opportunities will not be missed that could have facilitated cycling. They provide baseline guidance which can be adapted in each individual situation. The document can be accessed here or in our Relevant Documents section.

Brighton and Hove Friends of the Earth (BHFoE) are requesting signatures to their petition on the redevelopment of the Royal Sussex County Hospital. Please help us by signing our e-petition.
