Cyclist fighting for life after Madeira Drive collision

A cyclist is fighting for his life after being hit by a milk float on Madeira Drive, Brighton, at about 8.20am today.


The man suffered serious head injuries and is currently being treated at Hurstwood Park brain injuries unit at Haywards Health with “life threatening injuries”.

A 22-year-old man, who was driving the milk float, has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and is currently in custody.
