Contraflow in Ship Street after all?

Brighton and Hove Council have informed Brighton & Hove Cycle Forum
that there may be a contraflow cycle lane in Ship Street after all.
This is by no means 100% certain yet and a
hitch is possible at a later meeting, but it is likely to get the go
ahead.

Brighton & Hove Cycle Forum is a partnership
of voluntary, community, public and private bodies working to
encourage, promote and improve cycling in Brighton & Hove. The most
recent meeting was held on 11th November.

Inspector Phil Clarke of Sussex Police attended for the
first time, his focus was largely on getting cyclists to obey red
lights. That was disappointing.
