New Upper Hollingdean Road Cyclist advanced stop box

As promised Brighton & Hove City Council has instated a cyclist
advanced stop line (ASL) at the junction of Upper Hollingdean
Road and Ditchling Road.

The ASL is an improvement for cyclists, but the junction remains
difficult for cyclists, particularly for those wishing to turn right
into Ditchling Road.

Not sure of the function of the white blob – motorists just
drive over it.
